Install Wizard
This
part of the course includes a powerful Wizard called Install
Wizard and a tutorial that teaches how to use this Wizard.
You can use this powerful Wizard to create setup files for
your programs. Resultant Setup file is a self-extract
compressed file. Your user will just double-click the Setup
file you created. As a result, your Setup files will install
your programs, create Program Group and program items,
create uninstall program, and will register ActiveXs, OCXs
and DLLs if needed. Create your Setup files in a few
minutes.

Self-Extract Setup files
Resultant
Setup file is a self-extract compressed file. Your user will
just double-click the Setup file you created. As a result,
your Setup files will install your programs.
Program
Group, Program Items
Using the Wizard, you create Program Groups and Programs
Items for your programs. Your program items will link to the
programs you installed, to HTML pages, to Readme files, and
so on.
Uninstall
An uninstall program is generated and installed
automatically.
DLLs,
ActiveX, OCXs
DLLs, ActiveX, OCXs are installed and will be registered
automatically.
Versioning
Files that require versioning (e.g., DLLs, ActiveX, OCXs)
will be installed provided that user's PC does not have
these files already, or has lesser versions.
